Found this and decided to purchase. Definitely a rare item. According to research, I believe photo was taken at the 1951 World Series. SGC has only a graded pop of only five of these in total.

I definitely think so, too. A most definite alternative to their Bowman rookie cards, in my opinion.

He was definitely loaded up here. Ha-Ha! It's actually a wonder this photo was made at that point in time, because Mantle had tore his ACL within game 2 of trying to catch a ball hit by Mays. I guess it's a good thing these were taken prior to the World Series starting or they probably wouldn't have existed at their rookie years. Would've been cool to have been there and seen that World Series, especially that first game.
