There have been reports that Zach Wilson is struggling in training camp and the Jets fans are becoming irritated. A fan called into a radio station to voice his concerns recently.

LOL my buddy is a huge Jets fan, he is from New Jersey. I asked him the other day if he was happy they drafted Wilson and he was stressing about that poor performance, what was it like 6-20 and a couple picks? .. 😂😂😂

    Practice? Practice?
If Bills fans were as impatient Josh Allen would have been run out of town after 2019.

New York City (I know they play in New Jersey) can be a tough town in terms of relationships between fans, players, and media. Sports hot takes are thrown around everywhere now, on TV, radio, and even Sports Talk . Most people have become like doctors on a deserted island.......no patience.

Edited to add: If I put myself into the shoes of that caller, I can see why he is anxious. The organization has a very poor track record. It's been a broken record for quite awhile now.

That is hilarious. Freaking out that the new guy isn't lighting it up after a week on the job. LOL.

Sam Darnold was the winner in the trade out of that dumpster fire. @doubledragon The Panthers will look back at that trade and remember how they stole a #3 pick for a happy meal. Still time to get some signed rookies on the cheap.

I hope Darnold can get a fresh start but I have to be honest, he scares me, I guess because of how things went in New York. It just seems like the New York Jets are a bad omen. Just look at Mark Sanchez, you can't tell me the buttfumble happened by accident. The Jets are cursed, and it's going to rub off on Darnold, and the Jets have made my life a living hell!

Jets fans are so used to suffering, it's comforting to court failure at this point.

Can we say.....Jared Goff? Same thing. Rams fans have never forgiven him over the last 6 games of the 2016 season when he was the starting QB in his rookie season. The Rams were the worst team in the NFL. That does not matter. No ring....bye,bye. The Rams fans ran him out of town........according to my secret Inside Source. Management is VERY sensitive to what the fans want....oh, well......they know best.

Just look at the Jets over the 3 years he was there. Greg Williams, Levon Bell. Jamal Adams. Gase had success early with QB’s but once defenses adjusted they floundered. Tannehill has flourished in Tennessee. I think Darnold will be just fine. Tannehill has Henry and Darnold will have CMC. 9 wins is not out of the question.
