Opinions from the board please..Miguel Cabrera cards

I have several low number auto's of him graded by PSA. Like a 2005 numbered to 5 auto. I can't remember all the makes that I have but I have several like 2006 1/1, 2005 numbered to 10, etc. However PSA grades the thick cards extremely hard. So a lot of the grades these cards were 6 and 7. Visually I don't see any issues, they don't look like a 1959 Mantle psa 6, with the corners not sharp, off-centered, etc.

My question to the board, will these lower grades effect the value greatly? None are rookies. So, if my 2005 auto jersey cabrera numbered to 5 is graded a psa 6, will that be crush the value? or does the low serial number help keep the value up?

Thanks for you insight.

  • Whatever the grade. His prices should rise in time. How long? I can't help with that. But I'd hold on to them, because funny things are happening and Will continue to happen. If you want to sell because of the grades... Do it to get exactly what you want! As far as grades you mentioned. Yes, 7 on down is where the value drops significantly. I'd sell to get what you want

I agree that those grades will hurt sale prices, but how much is hard to say.
