This picture was personally owned by Cobb himself at one point in time! Comes with a letter of provenance. Not sure what this might go for, but I assume not a fortune, despite it being owned by Cobb. Still, a really cool and rare item!

Nope. Not a fortune, $73.50; this one within a lot of 11 pieces that auctioned last year for $810. Not much at all considering the claimed provenance.

Of interest, vintage photos like this, without hand coloring, Cobb or otherwise, often sell for more mainly due to their all too common use as raw period material for autograph forgers who carefully avoid anachronisms, although they usually trip themselves up with the forged signature itself.
