"In saddening news, the Astros announced this afternoon that former major league pitcher J.R. Richard passed away at the age of 71. The team will hold a moment of silence in his honor before this evening’s game against the Twins."

    He was a blast to watch. Electric stuff. Actually lead the league in walks and HBP's in 3 seasons while striking out just about everyone else. Unhittable at times He had a great 5 year stretch before a career ending injury.

    I didn't know he died of COVID complications
