It's my 20th anniversary on the forums here this month.

August 17th will be my 20th anniversary on the CU forums. What a journey it has been.
What's that you said?
Of course there is a giveaway!
Why don't you come join the party and say hello, for old time's sake?
I've got another giveaway here, too.

Congratulations Lord Marcovan. You are definitely a positive addition to the forum and I appreciate your humor and generosity.
Congrats Rob! One of the reasons I became a member here in 2005 was seeing threads like this one. A good read for the newer members!
MING medallion thread
Congratulations, your wit and wisdom are very much appreciated
My 20th is this Fall. Congrats; loved your posts.
Hokey Moley, congratulations on the milestone Rob. Here’s to 20 more.
Congrats! Your posts have always been enjoyable. I bought my first ancient from you many years ago now.
You have been a great contributor
Here’s to another 20 years !
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Congrats! I’ve really enjoyed your posts over the years.

Congratulations, Rob!!
Congratulations! Do you have a link to the first post
Congratulations, Rob! Your posts have always been great! Thank you!
Tom
Congratulations!
Huge congrats on the 20 LordM !
Y’know, I don’t- and I don’t even remember what it was, now. It would be interesting to see, but I’m not so savvy with this post-2016 platform, so I wouldn’t know how to find it.
An incredible tenure! The forums truly wouldn't be the same without you!
Thanks, Joe. You know how awestruck I’ve been by your collection. One of your measly castoffs was my “trophy coin” for a good while (still would be, if I hadn’t had to pay some bills two years ago). A small crumb from your table was a banquet to me, in that particular case. I’ll buy your castoffs any time I can afford them! (Which ain’t often.)
I really miss that Hadrian sestertius, too. It’s a bummer I had to sell those two. Poverty stinks. But I totally enjoyed owning them in the time they were here.
Congratulations on your twentieth anniversary!

Thanks, WB2. I remember you getting that A-Pi aureus, and how positively green with envy I was. Still am!
Best remembered: your “Coins In Movies” articles. Hope you’re still doin’ ‘em.
PS- @zohar- I don’t recall ever having sold you anything (maybe? how else would I remember your office is in a certain famous landmark?)
But I do recall buying one piece from you:
It has been awhile since I've scanned the forum and posted and am very happy to have seen this thread!
Congratulations LordM and thank you for all you do to promote the hobby and make it fun!
Happy 20th!
LM, Congrats on your 20 years!
Congrats Rob!
8 Reales Madness Collection
Congrats Rob!
I remember your holey coin hat and vest.
Remember this one?

It took 4 years to happen but the Canadian War Museum finally accepted this piece into their collection this summer. I am very proud to have donated it to the people of Canada and hope to see it on display some day.

Oh, you bet your boots I remember that piece!
In fact, I was just wondering earlier this week if it had made it into the museum, and am delighted to hear that it has. Hats off to you for that, sir.
I am sure that Private Harold Clinton Shaver and his mother Bertha are looking down from Heaven and approve.
(For those who didn’t read the story linked above, it is nearly certain that Private Shaver commissioned the carving of that love token in France and sent it to his mother in Montreal before his young life was tragically cut short in the German air raid on his hospital. You don’t get much more poignant a backstory than that, when it comes to love tokens with discovered provenance. It deserves its place in the Canadian War Museum.)
@1960NYGiants - thank you for that update. I added it in a postscript to the story thread on CoinTalk.
It was my honor to temporarily be the custodian of this piece. Your write up on Coin Talk is superb.

I feel the same pride of temporary custodianship. It’s where it belongs now, for future generations.
same here, and ditto!
hey I recall you were a newbie, I showed you the ropes, you joined 5 mos. after I did.
Many happy returns, Lord M. I was following your blog about the unusual things that happen at night in seaside resorts for awhile.
Congrats on 20 years Rob!
It's been fun having you around since I landed.

Can you post all the avatars that you have used during your 20 years?
Not quite - the pix hosted on the old server are dead now. But there are some in this old Testing Forum thread.
