Scam being currently run on the BST ....... watch out.

Was offered a coin that I already own in response to a WTB listing on the BST - seller even used my own photo!

Several others have received offers as well in response to WTB's - same MO - their friend "Teddy" has what you're looking for.

Be careful ......

    I got the same e-mail-PM was about a 21 buffalo, was from Jeffmason01 and read

    I should have noted that the guy saying "Teddy has what you are looking for" has no history on CU forums. Well, I'm back here after almost 20 years away, and didn't realize the waters were so dangerous. Is the general agreement around here that the seller sends the coins for approval before payment, or what?

    It depends on who.

    People with established records generally run things over the new people.

    When established is a tie, then it is negotiated

    Shipping before payment is at times asked to a new forum member. Otherwise I would say NO as it causes red flags. Best when in doubt PM some established member and ask if they know who your dealing with
