i brought it up briefly in the “lakers get russ” thread. no traction there either.

cant believe how the nationals owners dismantled the team. they couldnt have done any worse.

they resign a broken down strasburg & let rendon walk.
strasburg cant even throw a ball.
then let michael b. jordan leave whos way better than robles.
not to mention corbin walk.
then deal scherzer out even though he was prolly gone after the season anyways bc of all the above
but to let trea go too under covid clout who still has 2 years til free agency is absurd.

but the strasburg contract was just so idiotic.

hate to see it but i see the yanks salivating over soto. i woulda wanted him to resign a 10 year contract and stick w the nationals but after all this, i cant blame him one bit for getting outta there when his times up. zero batting protection, zero pitching, zero loyalty.
