Good day all!
I'm a documentary film producer working on a series about interesting, lesser known events of the CiviIl War, and one story being covered is the St. Albans Raid, which involved the theft of tens of thousands of dollars in various denominations from three banks. Among the currencies stolen were 7-30 notes with the coupons attached, which I am reproducing for use as props. However, I've not been able to find the exact measurements for these.
Would any of you know off hand the dimensions of these notes?
Many thanks!
Brian

Do you happen to have an image of the Interest Bearing Notes ?
I have images of most of denominations represented. It's not a huge deal if I can't portray every denomination that was stolen. The task being more to print enough greenbacks and treasury notes to convey the scale of the theft. I just want to get the dimensions right so the bills aren't obviously the wrong size. I've got greenback specs, but lack the 7-30s.
This might be helpful. From the Smithsonian's Bureau of Engraving Printing Certified Proof Collection:

I believe the dimensions would be very similar to a large-size greenback, minus the coupons. If you match the height, I think you can suss out the width.
