The historic peace treaty between Israel and Egypt, after several wars (1948 War of Independence, 1956 Sinai Campaign, 1967 Six Day War, 1973 Yom Kippur War) is commemorated on several coins and medals issued by both countries. This Egyptian Menorah Lamp is featured on Israel's Chanuka commemorative series. Struck in silver, great prooflike contrast on design details, and this one particularly beautiful due to natural toning with various colors. Graded PR67, mintage 19,019.
