New tonall of this and trying to catalog a large collection. I came across a Binder of 1991 The Sporting News collection. It is 100% complete and is the "First Printing". Cards seem mint.. anynidea on a value of this one? I cannot find much info other than this First Printing being Considered Very Rare.

Do you have any pics? First printing? Ebay has a bunch of these for sell if you search.

Very little made in 1991 is rare, let alone very rare. It sounds Conlon collection-ish to me, but w/o pictures to know for sure, just guessing. There may be some more desirable Conlon cards, perhaps some limited edition sets, but demand is another story. The cards were generally pretty plain. Unless you loved history and classic images, the sets were unappealing to many, especially in a time when there were a lot of products and some neat stuff coming out.
Here are some pics. I added the screen shot where i Got "very rare" from. I am super new to all of this haha. Cards are in top condition it seems. Corners all shap...I inherited about 47 binders and 50+ boxes i am going through. 75-92 mostly. Let me know what ya know bout those pics!
If you scroll down on the page that you got this information from you will see images of the differences of the printings. For the first printing, the word "Hall of Fame" is in the upper right hand corner. Here is a pic. Unfortunately, you have the second or third printing. As pictured below, if you have the MLB logo on the back of card #1, then you have the 3rd printing. Again, if you search ebay, these seem to be plentiful, primarily in factory unopened condition. If the different printings were highly sought after, it would be common knowledge. Unfortunately, while there may be differences in printings, I don't think they command a huge premium.
