The Bohemian groschen struck in Prague, or "Pragergroschen", was a late mediaeval silver trade coin, struck in vast quantities from 1298 using silver mined locally from the Kutna Hora silver mine.

Replica groschen are sold as souvenirs to visitors of the Prague mint, and probably from museums in Prague as well. This particular coin is a replica of a groschen of Bohemian king Wenceslaus II, who was the first issuer of pragergroschen. To see what a genuine Wenceslaus II groschen normally looks like check out the example on the Wikipedia page for the pragergroschen

Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.
    Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD. B)
