They had scouts in NY on Friday when he came off the DL and pitched against Toronto, but no names have been thrown around yet. image

    El Duque hasn't done anything good the past year. He's gotten hurt waaayyy to much to be a big contributer. He's a okay #4 or #5 pitcher, don't expect him to be a #2 or #3 pitcher.

    He wouldn't fit in the rotation here, let alone be a #1 or #2 guy. Vazquez, Armas, Colon, Ohka, and Dempster(??) will be our rotation, no way El Duque is gettin in. I'm guessin they're wanting to let him set-up, or let him close. We need a closer desperatly, dunno if he could do it though. We also could use anything besides Matt Herges, Graeme Lloyd, and Jim Brower, our designated losers in the bullpen.

    Looks like Scott Stewart has been doing the job for the Expos lately.Wonder if the trade is insurance in case the Floyd/Dempster deal falls through??
