Not a sport? Hogan slams Andre the Giant in Wrestlemania 3

I recently saw a biography on Andre. There was alot of back story to that Wrestlemania 3 match vs Hulk. Andre was physically in serious pain from various ailments by that point in his life in which he refused treatment. Many concessions were made to make that match happen. I recommend watching it if you haven't already. They pulled that match off without a hitch which was amazing when you hear about Andre's condition at that time.

Right - he was starting the beginning of the end but still was able to "wrestle" for a few more years after the fact. His weight of around 525lbs was wearing his joints down and he actually wore a back brace under his wrestling uni

I'm going to have to defer to DD or the Perk to find and load the most iconic photo of my high school years.

John Carlos and Tommy Smith et al on the podium at Mexico City, 1968 Olympics.

    Have a nice day

    And another,
RFK being cradled by Rosey Grier (Rams) on the deck of The Ambassador Hotel(L.A.) as he was assassinated in 1968.
