I Have A Question For ALL Of You......

Everyone that has traded with me knows that I'm an honest guy and that I can't stand people that rip another person off. I just wanted to know how many of you have heard the story, "Oh, it must have gotten lost or something because I send it a long time ago...." and all that garbage? I think it's so dayum funny to think that an excuse like that would actually work. People like that are idiots and will get their's when the right time comes. I just wanted to hear what others have to say about scam artists like these....

    Before I say anything, i AM NOT A RIPPER OR SCAM ARTIST! ok here goes- although this is highly unlikely and has never happened to me, sometimes cards can get lost in teh mail when sent uninsured.

    I'm not referring to you but let me ask you this....how often DOES the mail actually get lost? I know that the percentage of mail that arrives safely is somewhere around 99% so I find it hard to believe when someone uses that excuse. And wouldn't that be the senders fault for not insuring? I think so....

    mail doesnt get lost it gets missed placed. BigE sent me a spx set about 3-4 weeks ago and it still hasnt got here. Now i know BigE we have traded many times so i know he sent. But this happens the post office could have placed it somewere and i might not ever see it but then again a month from now it might all of a sudden get here. Thats what happens

    mail get mis placed alot quite a few times to me a person said he sent when trade was dont and took a few weeks and i would get it and it would be post marked on the day he said he sent like once a friend a nd me traded and he said he sent day after we traded and about 2 months went by and i recived the cards and the were post marked for the day he said he sent.

    With the percentage of mail that is actually lost today,If you don't recieve a card,you have a 99.7% chance that it was never sent!! PERIOD

    i agree, most of the time ppl have some lame a*s excuses, and that is the most common. i did have one case though where I sent a package, and after 4 months the guy had recieved nothing. he posted me as a bad trader, and i posted him as a bad trader. about 5 months after that, the card showed up, and it was post marked from when i sent it(almost 9 months!). stuff does get lost in the mail, and this is a prime example. it is very rare though!!!!!

    I agree. I think that the large majority of bad trades are caused by people who are either conartists or children under the age of 15. image The conartists just don't send. the 15 years olds just don't have their parents send and think they are above the world.

    ok i have to reply to this i just had a package get lost which i did have it insured,it was a trade with bigshane i had over 3 weeks ago,now this will be the first package i have lost in over 100+ trades i have done on-line,i just recieved my end from shane, so now i have to go tomorrow and file a insurance claim with them and send replacement cards to shane,so it does happen

    That's why if it isn't insured, they should take it up to the counter, mail it and request a receipt. Scan it and have it available to show whoever you were trading with.

    Yeah littleboy i cannot stand when mail gets "missed placed", that just ticks me off. Learn to spell you retard, i am quite sure you meant "misplaced". Keep at it though buddy and that Hooked-on-Phonics will eventually pay off!!! At least you got the spelling correct in your weekley mindless TR threat. A few more intellectual progressions and you'll get promoted to advanced retard status, and MAYBE...... just maybe one day you'll even get to ride the regular bus to school!!!!!

    This is also the reason why I always send priority,with confirmed delivery,- I have proof that a package was sent to a certain location,and the date it arrived!

    Yeah Slipknot they are making it tougher and tougher. Last i heard you had to have an IQ of 25 to get on the regular bus!!! Littleboy will never make it, he has to be in single digits
