FS at GC - MS64 1874 Trade Dollar toner, 1946 MS67+FB Dime
It's time for these coins to find new homes. They're both up for auction at Great Collections, closing on 9/19.
I acquired this Trade Dollar not too long ago, but the overall look isn't terribly consistent with rest of my dollar collection. I have not tried it at CAC, but it's likely that it was tried before I bought it. In-hand, the color is somewhere between the TrueView and the slab shots I've provided. The obverse is darker than the reverse. Luster is good on both sides. There are a few little ticks, but no scrapes or big distractions like most have at this grade level. PCGS has graded 33 in 64 with 9 finer. CAC has graded 10 at 64 with 5 finer. A CAC'd 64 recently sold for $8400 and a white, non-CAC coin sold for $3995 at a recent Legend auction. PCGS Price Guide is $4500.
The Roosie is a duplicate from my 20th Century Type set. To me, it's much nicer in-hand than I've been able to capture. Luster is amazing and the toning blends seamlessly across the coin. Eye appeal is fantastic. PCGS Price Guide is $475.

Not my series but the Texas commemorative is extremely nice… Good luck with the sale!
