1980 Baseball Wax Rack - Price Tag

Hope that everyone enjoyed the long holiday weekend, nothing quite like Fourth of July in my opinion. Such a great celebration.

Anyway, wanted to hear your thoughts on my issue at hand. I have a few of these rack packs, but all have old price tags on them. How much does the tag devalue the pack? Is there a tried and true way of removing it? I tried to peel one off several years ago and it didn’t come off the plastic, but actually remained adhered and ended up with a small tear.

Appreciate your input.

Thanks,
John

I love when they have the original price stickers on them. Like $.29 a gallon gas

DO NOT try to take off that sticker with alcohol or Goo Gone or any other solvent. Unlike cello packs (and wax trays), the graphics on 1980 wax racks will wipe off completely if you attempt to do that.

I agree with Mark. I like the provenance original price stickers add even if some will downgrade value a bit.

    Hi,
Do you best to keep your Rack as is.
That is an Awesome Rack that you have.

best way i know to get rid of them is to simply let me pay you 10x the original sticker price. theyll be outta your sight forever. win win.

but seriously, i like them on there too. especially when they say things like kay-bee toys, safeway, revco & nostalgia stores like that.

I would just leave it on. Increases the "cool factor".

    Enjoy your collection!

Thanks for the expert opinions guys. Much appreciated. At this
Point it seems I leave the stickers on. I’m sending them to BBCE for wrapping so I wanted to make the call on whether to do so with or without stickers.

Funny I just tossed away a roll of those grocery labels I had. Still have the gun though.
