I'd like a nickel wax pack from this set.
Seems the cello is the easiest to find. Penny wax and nickel wax are tough.
Great set. Don Hutson is a tuff card. Thorpe, Grange and Horsemen are the big ones. I think the Thorpe card has a huge upside.

It’s been a largely undervalued/appreciated set. I once had a complete set of 7’s. I still have a few of my favorite cards from that set including Duane Purvis….

Want to get the Grange someday as an Illini fan. I would say the set is pretty popular.
Over on the PSA set registry forum, check out @Bearkat21 thread. Very interesting.
Seems the Nile Kinnick and the Jay Berwanger card are not that easy...

I'm working on this set in PSA 7. About 10 cards or so left. Values in PSA 7 declined a little bit in 2019. I was buying common cards in the $40-$60 range for a while, it dipped a little bit to $35-$50, but now there seems to be strong interest in the set. I also have a raw set that I will probably piece out on ebay eventually.
Paging Drs. Van Santan and Nahigian please...
What's a thread without pics?
Grange was a halfback... not a quarterback...

collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
I collected a set but sold it about 10 years ago. It was a fun journey and I’m guessing a little more affordable before this boom.
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
Is the Thorpe card one of the most valuable Topps cards produced after a player's career? I presume his value and investment potential is high because of lack of other cards during that time? Any other after career Topps cards with similar potential as Thorpe?
1969 Mickey Mantle WL has to be up there.

Down to my last 10 cards in PSA 7 or better. I love this set!
Late 60's and early to mid 70's non-sports
You are probably the one beating me out on ebay!
Let me know when you are done so we don't kill each other. I'm slow rolling the last few cards.
Will do! Bidding on almost all the ones I still need in the auctions ending in the next couple of days by probstein.

Y’all just leave some 5s and 6s behind for me a d I’ll be good. It does seem like there has been an uptick in interest in this set.

Great cards. I’ll get to those eventually. Figure they’ll be some of the last few I add to my set.
