86 fleer Jordan Sports Collectors Digest 4

I AM LOOKING TO BUY A 86 FLEER JORDAN in a SCD (red label) grade of 4. Thinking I can pick this up for about 3k and card looks clean...(see pics) would welcome the opinions of the expert here...

im not sure your point....are you saying that 3k is way over priced for a 4?

for that “4” in that holder? i sure am.

seeing several psa 4s that look a lot better under $3500 recently.

calculate your new grading/crossover fees, shipping and insurance both ways coupled with the time and headaches to get that all done and youre pretty much there already with a much better looking card plus avoiding the risk of the scd one coming back a 3. which it probably would.

so i guess im not sure of your point in trying to shave a few bucks on this scd4 when it makes much more sense to just do it right the first time?

Sound advice, and the only thing to add to it is that it could also end up being altered.

Card looks OK but there are a million out there. I'd wait a few more months for it to keep cooling down. You shouldn't be paying that much for a low grade Jordan RC no matter the holder..

I always say, don’t create a project and risk associated with it when one does not have to. Agree on just buy one PSA already

That's a risk with ALL grading company's
