Name the only two RBs with a higher yards per carry than Jim Brown.

Mercury Morris is right behind Jim Brown at #4. Which two backs are ahead of both of them ?

Once you know the answer, please tell me if they are that good, or just played on good teams.

Never heard of them.

Jamal Charles and Marion Motley. Jamal Charles was great for a couple years behind an immensely talented OL and scheme. Motley was a big bruising back that benefited from playing on some of the best teams of that era and weak competition. The answer is no neither back was better than Jim Brown. Barry Sanders was better than all three though

Perk dog got it right, but Gale is right behind them.

My guess was going to be Mercury Morris, but that got shot down awfully fast.

This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.

For the record I had no idea Mercury Morris was that high on the list.

Baseball's Eddie Gaedel was much more impressive than any of this chit with a career on base percentage of a perfect 1.000

Eddie's career was short but not forgotten.

In my opinion, Jamaal Charles was that good, but not in terms of longevity necessarily. I'm not saying he was a better RB, I mean he was that good in terms of running hard and running for average. Great back.
