I just came across this interesting video from the Ed Sullivan Show. I'm sure diehard Mets fans have already seen it but I had never seen it before. They had most of the '69 Mets team there to sing "You Gotta Have Heart". Some interesting observations

It was interesting seeing players introduced as "Darrell Harrelson, Don Dyer and Gerald Grote
Tug McGraw was his usual self hamming it up
It was interesting seeing Nolan Ryan and Tom Seaver shoulder to shoulder - Two of the greatest pitchers of all-time as they were just getting established as stars (Ryan yet to be a star)
Nolan looked like he'd really rather be anywhere else

That was fun. Nolan wanted part of it. Lip syncing by a few of them as well. Seaver was having fun. I kept looking for Gil Hodges, then Ed explained his absence.
