    Looks like a silver round (aka medal) to me.

  • Appreciate the response. The edges are ridged like any other coin and it is has a number like most proofs along the edge. Wanted to list it for sale but hard to list when you don't know anything about it. Thanks again, Sam G

    The characters look to be runic, suggesting something that is Nordic, in someone's mind.
