The MLB sticky searches have gotten underway, and they are very entertaining. This is a video of Max Scherzer being searched and it has gone viral.

    After this, Clayton Kershaw asked that managers who request unsuccessful searches in the middle of an inning - as happened here with Scherzer - be penalized in some way. The search of Scherzer was obviously done as gamesmanship to try and rattle him not from any thought he was cheating. Kershaw is right - managers who wrongly search pitchers should be punished in some way.
