How common are doubled dies on earlier Mexican coins?

Picked up a Mexico 1904 MoM. 20 Centavos yesterday, and when taking a better look at it today see that is is a nice and clear doubled die on the date, REPUBLICA and MEXICANA. If it was an US coin... would certainly have collector interest and premium, etc. But as an occasional foreign dabbler, I don't know much about Mexican mints and quality control, and how common this may occur.

Are doubled dies relatively common on the Mexican coins? Next time I take some photos, may try to get some pics of the coin. Thanks for any info!

They're not particularly common but then again, neither are those who collect by die variety. Lots of overdates and repunched digits in the republic era, most command modest premiums at best.

Thanks MasonG; kind of what I thought. Pretty much the same in U.S. coins... everyone likes to find the doubled dies, but not much market for selling, etc. except for the well known major ones.
