Somewhere along the way I acquired this token. It’s 13mm, I’m assuming brass. Left facing eagle and 12 stars on the obverse. Any info on this would be appreciated. Are these very collectible or carry much value? Thanks I’m advance for any input.

It's a gold $1 size game counter of a somewhat less common type. I can't verify the type for sure due to the indistinct image of the reverse but it appears to be Fuld & Rulau One-17 (or closely related type). The large majority of $1 gold size game counters were struck in the 13mm size. If it is One-17 it is listed as a Rarity-7 on a R-1 to R-10 (unique) scale but that rarity seems a little bit generous from my experience. Most circulated game counters such as this piece fall into the $3 to $20 price range.
