1948 Exhibit Sports Champion set graded?

Does PSA not grade these? I only see them in SGC slabs. Anyone have any knowledge on the history of them?

IMO, it's a wise decision if they DON'T grade them. As with many black and white/sepia and white issues, the 1948 Exhibits is either one of, or THE most replicated cards. And I don't mean recently, but replicated many decades ago, far enough back and close enough in time to the issuance of the originals that for the majority of hobbyists, and even very astute ones, telling them apart is typically a very daunting task.

This is also a huge issue with the Bond issues as well, both rectangular AND with the rounded corners. The trick is in identifying the paper, which is dissimilar in the unreal from the real.

    Thanks for the feedback.
Looking for a/some Man o War card(s) to go with my 1977 Bimbo Secretariat i recently got graded.
Looks like I may have to continue my search if these are hard to verify.
