So the voucher is only good for coins less than $300 now?

I've been putting aside coins for this submission. Finally got 8 together and apparently it was all for nothing. I can't imagine a reason to renew this membership again.

Waste of $249. Keep your magazines, keep your shirt.

Their web site doesn’t indicate that:

These free grading vouchers are a great way to get started building your PCGS-graded coin and banknote collection. They are valid for submissions of U.S. or World (non-U.S.) coins or banknotes equivalent to either the Regular Standard or Regular Gold Shield service level. Vouchers are not valid for Restoration Services, Mint Errors, Special Issues, Additional Services, Guarantee Premium fees or coins valued over $2,500. Vouchers are valid for submissions to the PCGS U.S. office only. Vouchers are valid for the term of the original membership only. Customer is responsible for Guarantee Premium fees, return shipping, and handling.

If you were mistaken, it would be a good idea to edit the thread title and your earlier post. ;)

How does the saying go, "sin in haste, repent at your leisure"?

My guess the coin value stated on the submission form would probably be accepted unless you are way off base or if the coin grades a lot higher than your estimate. "Value" is very subjective. What happens if you get a no grade? Clearly value would drop significantly.
