This card looks real similar to your Jackson card in your other post. I have no clue, but just based on the similarties, I would say this one is fake too.
Just curious, does anybody else wonder what the intentions of the OP are since they have two posts asking about possible fakes? These two posts are the only ones they've ever done.

I take the default position that someone is just seeking knowledge. No reason to think anything nefarious at this point.

Like I said, just getting back into the hobby. Bought some cards from this same seller and I'm pretty sure I got screwed
I understand, and I agree, these all look bad. If it's ebay, there's a correct way to get your money back. If you want to go that route, you could get a lot of advice on this board.
What did you pay? The asking price itself should be a big indicator. Was it well under current market value? Were they advertised as unknown origin?
Ebay sellers like to use the line that they inherited or found a large collection (usually someone old like dad, grandpa, uncle) , they don't know anything about cards and they are listing them as reprints, because that is ebay's rule, but the implication is that they could be real and the sucker, I mean buyer, is going to get a steal!
I collect Steve Garvey, Dodgers and signed cards. Collector since 1978.
Yeah it was a heavy discount and they said it was being sold on consignment blah blah blah. Definitely got conned. I'm glad I found this forum though, definitely educational and have learned a lot already

Typically, there's only one reason to deep discount a high demand, high yield, blue chip card; and it's the same reason as to why someone would deep discount 100 dollar bills for 10 to 60% of face value.

+1 And it's not so much artificially aged as the card was copied from one that was already aged, thus imparting that look (note the evenly tanned borders that is not mirrored on the back of the card, and how drastically the color of the lettering differs from the color of the borders).
It should be noted, for future reference, that this particular reprint can quickly be identified as such by the continuation of the yellow background of the portraiture to below the black lines demarcation Jackie's shoulders. The outer areas of the portraiture, between the black shoulder lines and the black name box are white on the original card, not yellow, as on the reprint.

way fake
fake
Thanks everyone. Just getting into the hobby again and trying to get better at spotting fakes and what makes them fake.
Uniform corner wear is an indicator. That vibrant of color with that amount of corner wear doesn’t make sense either.
HOF SIGNED FOOTBALL RCS
With that much corner wear, I'd expect to see so creases as well.

Where did you buy them from?

How did you pay? Did you use Paypal good and services or Paypal friends and family? If goods and services, just start a dispute with Paypal.
