Hank Aaron early cards

Is it me or did Topps use the same picture of Hank Aaron from 1954-1956? If that's the case, that would seem to make for some pretty lazy work on Topps's part.

    Yes, Topps was lazy on Aaron as well as Mays from 1954-1956. That is why I decided to have only one card of each player (1955) from 1954 to 1956.

    Same pic for 1954-56 but at least there are different background pix (including Willie Mays sliding into home on the '56 card). 1968-69 were much worse because they are the same photo and take up so much space on the card. BTW, the '54 card is the only one that called him "Henry".

    I agree that 68-69 is worse...68/69 Aaron is the same and Mays 68/65 as well as 69/66. Interesting fact about Henry only used on his RC.
