Last month when BBCE's flash sale came up for the '79 BB wax tray I was able to snag one. It was the 1st wax tray I ever bought from BBCE, but I was wondering if this was normal when they were packaged? In the long run it is just a 1st World Problem, but I wish all 3 packs were completely showing.

what in the world?
Did it shift? During shipping?

One Steve's employees must have tied one on the night before packing my tray!
I tried to gently shift it back to the center, but it was packaged tightly, and it wouldn't move. I guess this tray is 9 OC.
i guess they are using foam inserts now?
Good Day,
Is this the First that gets the Dreaded Arbitrary, "at the Graders discretion" O/C Qualifier??????

Blurry, by the looks of it, I'm assuming it is a foam insert. It has no chance of shifting back to the center.
Neil,
I'm just trying to keep the board interesting with OC wax trays, and a Gretzky rookie laminated by my mom.
That's weird

I'm thinking one of my former students, who doesn't like me, packed this tray.
that would bug the absolute crap outta me. and i think i can speak for the group here and honestly say that theres only one rational way to deal with it....
get tah rippin! 😉
It does bug me, but with my luck the only centered card if I ripped this would be good 'ol Rusty.
Try tapping the holder on a flat surface with the extra space side down to see if it will slide back into place.

Why not contact BBCE? I'm sure they will rewrap the tray at no cost to you.
I'll give it another try tonight. Thank you for the advice.
I have no doubt that Steve would rewrap it for free if you contacted them.
That was You? Still getting a Chuckle thinking about it! Aren't Mom's the Best!!
Thanks
Yeehah!

I can not stand those black foam borders. If I could I would suck every one of them out of the holders I own.

I'm not not hip on those black boarders either...
Hi,
Just call Steve and everything will be OK for you.
I'm a fan of the new black boarders. Well not the one the OP got but in general I like them ; )

The only reason I like the black foam inserts is that they keep the racks from sliding around typically. When grocery racks specifically slide around too much, the ends split and the individual cellos slide out. Essentially it makes the rack no longer an unopened item, even though it is encased in a BBCE holder. The foam at least slows/minimizes that. Usually.

I just sent an email to BBCE, and got a quick reply from Rick saying that they would take care of it. Thanks everyone, and no rippin Blurry!
I like the black inserts for trays for display purposes but not for racks as I like to see the edges of the racks on top. For trays, they really look sharp imo and are better than having the tray float around in the holder without them.

I really like the black borders. They make things pop.
Looks a lot better now!
