Some lunatic paid $99,997 for a McDonald's Chicken Nugget on ebay, because the nugget is shaped like a character from the video game "Among Us".

Like many gamers out there, I enjoy a few rounds of Among Us — the murder mystery game in which an imposter joins a crew of little characters and tries to kill them before he or she is unmasked as the saboteur — from time to time.
But would I spend my hard-earned cash on a chicken nugget that happens to look just like an Among Us character? And would I spend $100,000 for that matter? No, I would not.
Someone on eBay ended up spending $99,997 for the crewmate-shaped nugget — which also, the seller claimed, was from a BTS Combo meal at McDonald’s — which is A LOT of money.
That said, yeah, this does look like a crewmate!

If these McNuggets are selling for these type prices, I might just have to head over to McDonald's and buy some McNuggets and try to find some that are shaped like that. It will be like ripping a pack of cards, except I'll be ripping a box of McNuggets.

Could have been a few of the seller's buddies, trying to create a frenzy and then hoping some sucker comes along and bids on it, like a herd mentality sort of thing. I doubt if anyone is that stupid, but from what is going on out there in the US right now, ya never know. LOL
