You can only have one on your team, who do you choose, Ben Coates or Rob Gronkowski?

Coates is a Patriots legend. But the answer is Gronk.
It’s definitely Gronk for me but the Ben Coates/Drew Bledsoe era in NE was what turned me into a die-hard Pats fan where I started tuning in for every single game.

Ben Coates was one of my favorite all time Patriots but Gronk is the clear cut better TE.
I loved the Bledsoe to Coates connection. I am partially torn with this one. now, Gronk is the more skilled of the two.
however, in Bens last 7 seasons in NE, it looks like he only missed 2 games. Gronk seldom played a full season.
I also think Ben would have had better stats had he played in gronks era with Brady throwing to him.
i think this is closer than we think...
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Thanks Eric, awesome article, I had not read that before. I have bought many cards from Adam Warshaw on ebay, he is the foremost expert in the world on boxing cards and has written books on them. He is such an expert that PSA actually consults him about boxing cards. He is a legend in the hobby, and that article was awesome!
