Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

I’ve been reading this and it perplexes me. He caused a dumpster fire in Detroit and came back to NE with his tail between his legs and now there is talk of being the heir to Big Bill?

In my opinion, if we look at this just as it is but take away the "heir apparent" part it makes quite a bit of sense.

I was no fan of Patricia's "bend don't break" defenses, so I was dismayed when he came back to NE. However, I have re-thought this and come out feeling like Patricia could be helpful to the team in this role.... as BB's consigliere.

What is Josh McDaniels ultimate goal? O coordinator for the Pats for the rest of his career?

I really think McDaniels is happy being OC. he tried the whole HC thing and it didn't work out in Denver. then he got hired and changed his mind last second.

some people are just happy and content not being the top dog and not having the responsibility that comes with it.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

This was the first thing I thought of after seeing the headline to that article, BB & Kraft convinced him to stick around while blowing off the Colts who were all set to make him their head coach. I’ve always assumed that there was some type of wink-wink deal for him to become the next coach after Belichick retires, what else could have justified leaving the Colts job after agreeing to take it?

Looking on the bright side though, I’d rather see Patricia or McDaniels become the next HC over Belichick’s kid. I don’t see Bill completely leaving the organization once he gives up coaching and if it ends Bill as GM,Patricia as HC and Josh as OC then I’m cool with that although I bet in that situation Bill’s kid probably ends up as DC.
