Love Ebay sellers, who list absolutely major injury cards (creases, wrinkles, tears, bends, water damage, etc). When they don't describe obvious issues, it speaks very loudly. The followup " I'm not a professional grader, judge for yourself" is really the coup d'etat . If we get duped, by not carefully inspecting pictures, we can only blame ourselves.

    You are right. You can only blame yourself if you don’t look at the pics.

    there are plenty of dishonest sellers who will provide poor images or simply use photoshop to conceal flaws. Having the card in hand is the only way to guarantee you got what was described.

    Ask the seller if there are any visible flaws, if they say no you have a documented record of that statement in the eBay message history. If you receive said card with flaws you are well within your rights to file a "not as described" claim against that seller. I don't see what you have to complain about, as a buyer you have all the power in the world on eBay.
