Service Level Question - 2000 Bowman Chrome Tom Brady (see scan)

So I'm helping a friend of mine sell off his collection. I'm trying to get the most value out of this cards, and eventually send his higher level cards to PSA once they remove the padlocks.

My question is, what service level should I use for this Brady rookie? Please keep in mind, when I scanned this I didn't want to remove it from the penny sleeve and card saver, so any dust or scratches you see are from the sleeves and not the surface of the card. The main flaws on this card are the centering, and the fish eye on top-right corner on the back. In hand, the surfaces, edges, and corners are beautiful.

I have no delusions of this card being a PSA 10, and I assume the centering would keep it out of a PSA 9 slab. A PSA 8 is listed in the SMR for $3000, and ebay comps are currently at about $2500 (and going down). The "Express" service level maxes out at $2499, and the "Super Express" limit is $4999. Do you think I should wait and send this in using the Express level, or send it in now using the Super Express?

While the end goal is to eventually sell this card, I don't want to sell it right now. Regardless I feel like this card should be slabbed, and I'm not trying to sell this card without the seller protection provided my ebay or auction houses.

Thank you for your input!

One vote for super express, and now. It's a 2000 Brady Bowman Chrome ! Once padlocks removed, that level could be 500 bucks and still take a year.

if not selling now, I would wait.

I would wait to send in under Express. With the centering, I think it will get a 7 or 8. If you send it Super Express and get a 7, I doubt that would be money well spent.

A 7 is still a $2k+ card, so not a total waste of $150 extra bucks (assuming regular express stays at $150) The nice thing is the super express only takes a couple weeks where express is at least 2 months right now for those that already subbed and will probably be worse once they open it back up. Unless the extra $150 is a real hardship, I'd throw down for $300 today. And who knows, you might get a 7.5 or 8 if you really looked it over correctly.

Also, I'd suggest allowing Qualifiers, since in the Auction report from March and April a couple 9 (OC's) did better than the equivalent PSA 7. But I don't think your card really screams OC to get the qualifier, it looks more like an 8 if there is nothing else wrong with it.

Yeah the centering isn't TOO extreme but would keep it out of a 10 for sure. I also found a few 9s with the same fish eye so that's encouraging. Good call about allowing qualifiers.
