I thought this was interesting for the first premium auction. There was a 1957 Mickey Mantle PSA-8.5 (PWCC-S) in the auction which required entries with a value of $50K+. The owner had listed it for $115,000 on the PWCC Vault. Well, the owner then tried the 1st Premium Auction with PWCC. Final sale price $39,000...

Since the last PSA 9 sold for $30K, I would think tat was pretty good.

Hooray for open auction bidding and price discovery.
Is that $39k with or without buyers premium? I believe the seller get's a kicker for listing it in the PWCC Preemie
Was the 8.5 your former 57 Mantle 8.5 - that was a heck of a card from what I remember.

Nope, his former 8.5 is still safe and secure with me
Saw that card in person and great pickup on your part. One of the toughest Mantles to find centered, and also finding one without the pesky print marks in orange is tough to find.
I don't have any cards that meet the $50k minimum for listing, but I did notice that I could list my PSA 9 1986 Fleer MJ if I wanted to.
PWCC Premier auction is legally classified as a with reserve auction in Oregon and by their policies and procedures. The individual should have pulled this card prior to the final hammer
PWCC ha a 20% premium attached to each sale. Half of that amount is returned to the seller.
