Im curious to know what you all think this set wold sell for as a whole or if you think its in my best interest to break it up? I have not decided to pull the trigger yet. Also the how, Ive never sold a card in my life.

I think you'd likely get the best prices breaking it up from the description. Very few people will want to purchase 40 PSA 10's at one shot. Lots of people would be interested in the individual cards to complete their sets, etc. Best of luck if you decide to sell. Congrats on the great set!

Always best to break up sets for maximum value
As others mentioned, break the set up and spread them over multiple weeks/months. I would suggest like 5-8 per listing and over 10 days to get maximum eye balls. Consign to one of the major players, such as 4SC. I have consigned with 4SC and they have been top notch with timely listing and payment. Finally, do not ship all your cards at once to the consignor. If you want to consign 5 cards, send 5. Don't send 40 and ask them to consign 5 here and 5 the following week and so on. I have heard nightmare stories about all cards getting listed at the same time. Good luck. Finally, do this over football season.
We really need a list of the cards or pics. We don't know if you are talking $10,000 per card or $50 per card. It all depends on the cards.

Thanks for the link. Now I understand what the OP was saying. I misread his title at first. I thought he was saying he has 40 Manning rookies and they are all pop 1. Nice collection.

Great collection! He may wind up getting even more positive attention as a broadcaster given the success of the new live show. I think he will be signing a new deal soon. May be worth waiting to see how that pans out. No new allegations have come out on the other fronts, so i think his legacy as a player is probably solid. Just a thought.
