1895 25C Barber Quarter PCGS MS65 CAC ~FABULOUS COLOR - Friend Collection. Coin is slabbed.

An underrated issue, the 1895 (like the 1894) is much scarcer in all Mint State grades than most later date Barber quarters from the Philadelphia Mint. Obviously, relatively few Uncs survived despite a fairly sizeable mintage of 4.4 million pieces. This is a simply gorgeous Gem, both sides toned in bright, vivid iridescence comprised of crimson-red, cobalt-blue, pinkish-silver and champagne-pink colors. Satin to softly frosted luster is as vibrant as the day the coin was struck, and it is free of worrisome abrasions.
