Digging in old boxes - Early Lebron and Brady - Help
Good Evening -
Been around a long time, man almost 20 years (can that be right??) but very infrequent poster.
Haven’t been in the game for a long time, but got into it a little bit over the pandemic, put together the 2020 Topps set (when you could still find retail) and dabbled a bit on a few prospects here and there. Mainly Seahawks and Mariners.
Anyway - my brother asked if I wanted to go to a card show today. Haven’t been to one in, I don’t know, 30 years. Had a good time checking things out and hanging with my brother.
Got the itch this evening to pull a box out of deep storage and see what was in there. This one seems to be 90% Basketball stars, 70s to 90s mainly. Vintage Topps, a few Star, no 86s but most of the stars from 87, 88, and 89 Fleer. Anywhere from 50-400 of all the big names (Bird, Magic, Barkley, Shaq etc. Just a handful of Jordan’s (they must be somewhere else)
And then a little chunk of early 2000s football stars and these Lebrons.
I think it’s Brady’s first Topps card, right?
And what are the Lebrons, specifically the Gold one. It’s thicker than the base and the Chrome.
My big question, what do I do with these? Worth grading (I know PSA isn’t accepting, and I’ve never graded anything in my life).
Any tips on how to move a whole mess of NBA star cards?
Luke

You have some nice cards! If you don’t need the money at the moment, hold on to the gradable cards for when PSA starts accepting submissions again.
Great stuff.... Your Lebron's are 2nd year and the Gold one is listed here: https://www.psacard.com/auctionprices/basketball-cards/2004-bowman/lebron-james/values/613588.

Nice cards, most of those should get in CS1's as soon as possible.
Thanks! Going to start working through it this afternoon.

Agreed. Really good looking set. I’ve got a stack of about 100 Hill RCs in there. Going to dig thru and see what’s any good.
