    Their actually trying to catch up to the Braves since they are 9 1/2 games back...they are trying to build up the team to catch Atlanta but it won't happen. My question: Why haven't they made these big moves a long time ago??? Not just this year...but ANY year...lol...

    Past ownership is why these moves haven't been made. We're just making a run for the playoffs, Wild Card or division, though wild card may be more likely. Florida will have officially given up if this deal is made, the Colon deal shocked them and I guess they figure they can't compete. Another thing MLB is trying to do, is make the team competitive so they can sell it in a new market, meaning move the team. They need to sell the team first, so who wouldnt want to buy a competitive team for cheap? And just as I start to collect Justin Wayne too image. Same thing happened with Donnie Bridges, they dealt him to Florida like a week after I posted about his cards.

    ESPN Story says if Floyd is dealt, a domino affect will take place in Florida and they're gonna be cleaning house, moving guys like Brad Penny and Luis Castillo.

    Yeah, I wouldn't blame them! And by the way Chad, I'm hoping Montreal lands that wild card spot! That would be killer! I'm pulling for them on that...
