Chantilly show...worth going?

I live near Rochester NY, looks like a 6 hour drive or so. Thoughts from anyone who has attended in years past?
Thanks.

Been 6 times. Love them. I hope they have it. I am lucky we have a monthly show where i live. ABout 12 -15 sellers each time. Alot of newer stuff, but I have picked some nice items along the way.

That $25 admission for Friday afternoon has to be a typo right?

The $25 is for early admission on Friday, from 2PM to 5PM I believe, then it’s $10 from 6PM till the end of the show.

It's always a great show but even then I would not drive 6 hours unless I was desperate for a card fix! :D

    Should be a good time!

    I used to have a 1970 - 340 Cuda, man I wish I had never sold her.

I think it's why I have been craving a Hellcat, the new challenger is just an E body copy from the 70's. >:)

Just got mine finished over winter...340 rebuilt, disc brake changeover on front, complete drum to drum 8 3/4 rear with 3:55 gears! Want to take to some shows this summer but don't know if there will be any.!!

Oh man that is a beauty, well done!

The disc brake conversion is a must.

I bought mine in 88 and sold mine in 92 it had been sitting/wasting away a couple years. I had wrecked the front end and back then it was almost impossible to find replacement grills for the 70 and 71's. I had gone to a couple Carlisle shows but had no luck. Basically the equivalent of you needing to replace your rear bubble window.

    Show report Saturday morning:

    • not very crowded at all - picked up after lunch just a bit.
    • BBCE had a small booth at front. Nothing spectacular.
    • many dealers decided not to set up due to change in dates and upcoming show schedule - about 30 percent of floor space walled off.
    • No grading companies set up.
    • Prices slightly higher than last Chantilly show but not nuts.
    • e.g. Picked up a nicely centered Jerry Rice RC PSA 7 lower than all eBay recent comps.
    • didn’t see many transactions, lots of browsing.
    • some Good serial numbered dollar box deals

    • tons of Pokémon.

    • Some non-sport deals out there, especially early 90s Marvel.
    • Wrestling cards are hot and most sold out Friday.
    • 1993 SP Jeter still hot. I bought the set without the Jeter for $3.
    • 1990 Fleer BKB hot. PSA 8 Jordan’s selling for $30 each. Packs selling $3-5 each. Was worried they were searched. BBCE boxes going for around $300.
