19 Cards of #19

I finished this player run last week. I thought it is appropriate to post it now since Johnny U would have been 88 today. This is easily in my top 3 favorites I have completed.

    Congratulations Mike!

What a great card to boot.

But this is my "fun" favorite of the run.

Still wonder to this day what was Topps thinking going with that photo. It is just bizarre

Congrats! Super impressive collection. Johnny U was a bit before my time, but he was my dads favorite player. I have been thinking about purchasing one of his cards recently. I really like the 1970 Topps version!

Great run. I have some of them, always want to pick up Unitas when I see them. Great to own.

Very nice sequence of Unitas' and the crew cut/flat top is awesome!

Terrific run of one of the all-time greats! My Dad used to compare EVERY QB to Unitas. I can hear him still, "He's good but he's no Unitas." :)

    Impressive stuff you have there!

Being a lifelong Michigan guy here: I of course know who Unitas is, but my brain sincerely has a difficult time understanding that anyone else in sports besides Yzerman has ever worn number 19 :D

(Unitas and Sakic, both 19's, certainly deserve all the recognition they get too!)

Well done! So great to see. Feels like we're bound to see fewer and fewer of these complete graded player sets with all the changes.

I have a few that are really close but unless some sort of special arises I will not send in. I need a 1991 Topps Elway. (Prefer a 10) to complete one.
