No greater living baseball player, in my opinion, and the greatest who ever played aside from the Babe himself. A true legend.

    Willie is a big Tennis fan. Enjoys watching Wimbledon every year.

    Met him as kid in 1988, was not the nicest person that day but one of the top 2 or 3 (non pitchers) to ever play the game. Last true superstar link to the Golden era.

    was talking w a buddy about willies birthday and he brought up an interesting fact that i hard a hard time believing til i looked it up:

    "willie just turned 90
    which means pete rose just turned 80"

    never would thought pete rose was 80.
