Quick back story, I picked this up the other day at a thrift store. I haven't taken it in for anyone to look at as I'm somewhat nervous even being outside with this thing if it turns out to be real. I don't know much about older Topps cards and I know even less about the upper tier PSA grading. I don't want to mishandle this card and I'm curious if anyone has any tips or ways to contact people at PSA so I can ask them exactly what I should do to get this card to them. I'm no expert but this card is pristine, any defects seen in the photo are on the acrylic case. SOMEONE HELP ME

looks like a photo copy reprint / forgery to me. Under magnification see if the white border is pixilated with tiny blue dots not seen by the naked eye
While it's hard to be fully sure from photos on the internet, I don't believe that is an original card. The borders should not be whiter than his name, as they should be the same color. Also, the paper stock on the back looks too smooth and without any of the more fiberous content from cards of that era. I compared it to my example of this card as a reference.
definitely a fake. Border is too white, and back is glossy and color is wrong.
I like the (HOF) addition in the title, what made you put that?
The color may be my new phone, but I can't be certain. I saw all over Topps posts for the 1958 set people using (HOF) to identify a subset in that collection lol.
All of the reprints of this card I can find online all seem to have an extremely whited out background as opposed to the traditional cardboard brown fiber material. The border does seem to be exceptionally white but I can find PSA certified versions of this card where the name white looks even whiter then the border...
Maybe you got a reprint like these https://www.ebay.com/itm/324603790393?hash=item4b93e4c439:g:74IAAOSw7spgkPIB , has the same bright white borders. I hope if it's a reprint it didn't cost much. Thrift stores aren't usually good at refunds.
You're coming here saying "I don't know much about older Topps cards" and then arguing with the people who DO know quite a bit about these cards. I understand you wanting it to be real, as that's always the dream... but in this case, I don't think it is. Best of luck.
It certainly does appear to me that the card linked above is the exact same as yours. Even the left to right centering is nearly identical.

I'd say a 100 million to one shot that it is real.
...So you're saying there's a chance?....
I'd say a 100 million to one shot that it is real.
I'll take the over
At least his reprint says PRTD. IN U.S.A. that ebay listing says printed in C.S.A.
Confirmed fake, thank you guys for all the info, to ridged and the white immediately caught the guys eye.
