Cobs - from where, and when?

Second post.
Looking to identify the specifics on cobs that were made into a necklace. What country, time period, mint,

etc.
Thanks in advance, I will post more if anyone can help.

There is no date (not even one digit) visible, no mintmark, none of the legend is visible, and no assayer. I don't see anything that makes attribution possible.

And that’s why it was made into the necklace. Because that was its highest and best use. That or the melting pot.

Time period: 1600s to early 1700s

  • Can you tell me how that cross is usually described?
