1835 Large Cent Attribution Help

hyf88hyf88 Posts: 294 ✭✭✭

This was a recent pickup and I am having difficulty nailing down the Newcomb number for it. Looks to be small 8. small stars with a die break running from the base of the bust through the 1 in the date to the rim. Grade is a solid Fine.
Any help is appreciated!

Does anyone else see what I think I'm seeing? That looks like a repunched "1" to me.

    Looks like 1835 N-8.

If you hit the Newman Numismatic Portal library, you can access The Cent Book by John Wright. Great book.
