Nice!
Pretty flashy!
Creative outlets are excellent distractions from some of the weirdness and difficulties of recent times as well.
Nice work there!

Could you sell those as NFT's? Have no idea, are you allowed to use those coin images in this way?

The image stamps aren't very 'arty' IMHO
Otherwise, nice imaging

Very nice...crazy idea...so many possibilities around collecting coins: history, knowledge, art and much more - I love that all
Who was that guy who drew currency so well it got accepted in stores ? Some took it knowing it was not real just to have his work ? I think he got arrested.
Well then I applaud you for fighting art theft!

J. S. G. Boggs
He did some very interesting stuff and used to attend some coin shows. Came to a sad ending though. I did not collect any of his work, but knew some who did. Not sure what the market is like now. Used to be very popular.
Maybe UrbanDecay04 can create some famous art and follow through with a better ending.

Thank you for sharing this WinLoseWin!
I LOVE this material on Boggs!
I am absolutely THRILLED with this story that somehow eluded me all this time.
It is one of the highlights of my entire week. :-)

NFTs are still a challenge unless you're a well known established artist...the NFT market is still getting figured out and NFT buyers still don't quite know what they want or even what they're doing lol. It's all a big experiment at the moment. Early NFT's are perhaps a bit about bragging rights, or maybe will even be somewhat tied to the value of particular crypto as the markets mature. It's a lot to try and explain to be honest.
I don't want to blatantly promote my NFT art in the forum or rudely steal @UrbanDecay04 's thread here because I like the art!...but I will say that I have made my first NFT sale only a few days after launching my NFT collection! But I've also put some actual effort into promoting it. ...I'm going to send @UrbanDecay04 a message with info about all this too...
If someone asks I'll be happy to point you to my OpenSea NFT store...I actually launched it as the first ever NFT coin mint and named it "Coinception" And dubbed the new hobby of collecting NFT coins as "Enumismatics" lol.
I won't pretend to be any type of expert since I only bought my very first crypto a few months ago and a friend out of the country who is a 3D artist introduced me to the NFT world.
I recently created an NFT store on OpenSea with some of my coin art. I posted some of my experiments in another thread somewhat recently https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1055408/just-minting-some-deep-dream-coins-over-here
I've been a fine art photographer on and off for about 30 years or so and have been using Photoshop since around 1990. I was also in marketing for much of my career(s). Printed art is still a much better way to establish yourself if you're interested in becoming a real life artist selling your artwork.

In my opinion, the idea that people are buying NFTs and not knowing what they are is ridiculous. It reflects the amount of stimulus in the economy and the lack of interest rate which further promotes risk taking.
Actually that's not at all accurate...
It's much more reflective of people simply making a lot of money from crypto investing...NFT started selling in earnest at the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020.
You have to keep in mind that people (for example) who invested say $1000 in bitcoin years ago have made many multiple times the amount you would've made investing the same amount in Microsoft or Google or Apple...there is no comparison...a few hundred bucks in the early crypto days and you're a millionaire now!
They became quite a large portion of business on the blockchains in mid 2020.
It's partially why the earlier NFTs are likely to be in some ways simply tied to the value of certain crypto currencies and tokens.
NFTs have actually been around on the blockchains since about 2014 believe it or not.
They are just becoming much more commonly known to the general public due to the recent much larger sales via Sotheby's and a couple very well known artists making a few NFT sales for many millions. Those bigger sales got some people very excited and willing to drop a few bucks into NFT's...most NFTs are selling for not much...$50 to $150 US$.
William Shatner started selling his very popular NFT trading cards in July 2020.

Well done, everyone. I wish I had been raised with computers and all the things they can do, but at my age, my last computer was an abbacus!....lol.
Anyway, lots of nice stuff there!

That's either a "clipped" apple or a cutout image of Gandhi.
@UrbanDecay04 would you be interested in doing a Kennedy one?
I'd guess it's and 1856 Compos. Spiel Munze New York City hall $20 Double Eagle.
