I don’t have the coin in hand and this is the only picture I have. I’ll post better pictures when I receive it. I’ve never seen the rear leg missing before.

It does look like a rusty die, a little tough to tell.
What's the date on the coin? That should make it easier to verify.
It's a Type 1 so it's gotta be a 1913!

I would say that's a filled die. There are no other areas of the design that are weak, and if it was an abraded die the more shallow parts of the design would likely be missing, too. Here's a 1916 "3 legged" I used to have that was the result of a filled die. Your coin is nevertheless an interesting coin and certainly worth keeping. Perhaps you could call it the "broken leg" variety.
