Highest serial number $2 1928 plain LT

This is definitely an anomaly. Nearly 40 million higher than the book high observed. Note was sheet printed in 1929 but not serial numbered and issued for circulation until four years later in 1933 at a time when 1928B notes were already in production. One of my more interesting notes.

    Your note is from the last known CU run. I have never seen an uncirculated example higher than A40738xxxA. If one ever surfaces I would be willing to pay up for sure.
