Last Ambassador from Imperial Russia

Here is an unusual autograph. George Bakhmeteff, the last ambassador to the US from Imperial Russia. Loved the raised seal of Russia and the bold autograph. I looked up Ambassador Bakhmeteff on the Library of Congress website and downloaded a great photo. He had a French bulldog! That’s class.

    The storm may have already broken depending on when in 1914 the autograph was signed.
